Chinese New Year 2009

Feb 4: CNY 2009 was special this year especially with the latest arrival of Becky to the Foo's & Loo's family. While Abby was busy collecting red packets for herself, she did not forget her little sister by asking the elders for another red packet for her 'Mei Mei' (if she doesn't get one), "One for me & one for my Mei Mei," she will say.

Jan 15: Just another 3 more days, Becky would be 1 month old. Here are some nice photo shots taken.

Abby back to school ... now in K1

Jan 5: Today, marks the first day going back to school for those school going children after a long year end vacation. Abby after completing 1 year of nursery is now going to kindy ... serious studies now Abby ... :). These 2 years of education will now build and enforce her foundation to Primary 1.

So for Abby, today she will be in her new kindy, wearing her new uniform, making new friends, having new teachers and encountering a whole lot of new experiences for her.

Here's a shot taken this morning before Daddy fetches her to school.

Oooops ... Daddy & Mummy forgot to ask the teachers what is the 'shoe code'. Sorry that you have to wear your sandals to school today. Mummy & Daddy will have to buy you new white socks & shoes.

Dec 29: It's coming to 2 weeks since Becky was born. She has brought back much memories since the day Abby was born in Sept 2004 - how being parents for the first time. Seeing her birth, hearing the cries, changing those wet diapers, feeding that hungry mouth, comforting those bad dreams.


It also makes us reminisce how beautiful God's miraculous creation is. From a tiny cell in the mother's womb to a beautiful living human being.

Abby is now 4 going to be 5 next year. Becky is now 11 days old. Let's see these 2 sisters put together ;).

Rebecca Week 1

Dec 24: Today marks 1 week since Becky was born. Abby, her elder sister is just thrilled and overjoyed to have a little sister. In the below photo, you can see how Abby holds her sister ever so gently with such tender loving care while posing for this photo.
