Lantern Festival

Sept 12: We celebrated this year's Lantern Festival at Abigail's nursery. It was celebrated by the teachers, kids, their parents and family. There was potluck contributed by the kid's parents having an array of fried noodles, chicken nuggets, fried chicken, sausages, jellies, tit-bits, etc ... Wow ... all kids food :)

Later, we were entertained by the kids with 3 action songs. Here in the photo is Abby with her school mates putting on a show for us. Oh ... she just enjoyed herself! The party ended with the kids walking round the school yard with their different lanterns; those with music, THX sound system, and those with different colours and shapes of helicopters, cartoon characters of mickey mouse, pooh bear and many more. Just so different from the traditional chinese lantern that we used to carry with a candle in the middle that with just a gush of wind the entire lantern will go into flames ... hahahah.
